P.K. Gupta takes over as NBCC Chairman

P.K. Gupta, an Indian Railway Service of Engineers officer, has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director of the state-run construction major NBCC (India) Ltd, it was announced on wednesday.
Prior to joining the Navratna company, Gupta was the Executive Director in RITES Ltd, a public service enterprise under the Ministry of Railways.
"P.K. Gupta, an Indian Railway Service Engineers officer takes over as CMD, NBCC. Before joining NBCC he was ED in RITES Ltd, a CPSE of Ministry of Railways. He has 33 years of Civil Engineering experience in various capacities," NBCC said in a tweet on Wednesday.
Gupta succeeds Shiv Das Meena, who held additional charge as CMD since March 5. Meena is an Additional Secretary with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.IANS
