Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said here on Wednesday he would visit Beijing to consult China in the wake of revocation of special status of Jammu and Kashmir by India.
Addressing a joint session of Parliament over Kashmir, Qureshi said he "might dash off to Beijing" after a resolution on Kashmir was passed, the Express Tribune reported.
The Foreign Minister said, "Indians themselves were lambasting their government's decision".
He also refuted opposition claims that the government was caught off-guard by the (Indian Prime Minister) Narendra Modi-led government's actions. IANS
