Blood donation camp held for Indian Army at Ramjas College

A blood donation camp was organised by the 'I am still Human' NGO at Ramjas College in Delhi University for the welfare of Indian Army personnel on Sunday.
The seventh edition of this campaign was attended by Indian Army veterans, students, professors, faculty and management of the college.
The blood was collected by a medical team of the Indian Army and over 300 units were collected which will be specifically used for the welfare of veterans, serving soldiers and officers and their dependents at military hospitals.
To show solidarity with the armed forces, a bike rally was organised which was comprised of over 70 female and male professional riders, as they were flagged off from India Gate and reached Ramjas College.
Also, a mega tree plantation drive was held in the memory of the nation's 21 Param Veer Chakra awardees wherein army veterans planted 21 special trees at the ground of the campus which is named as 'The ground of Param Veer Chakras' and each tree has been given the name of a Param Veer Chakra recipient.
