Car injures five policemen in Delhi

Five policemen were injured early Thursday when a car hit them near Akshardham temple in the capital, police said.
The incident took place at 2 a.m. while a police picket was checking vehicles and a car coming from Ghaziabad hit the five policemen. Police said the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
All the injured were rushed to Delhi's Lal Bahadur Shashtri Hospital. While three policemen were discharged from the hospital, one was referred to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital and the other to a private nursing home, police said.
The driver of the car has been arrested. - IANS
