03-December-2012
Gaon Connection, a rural all-colour weekly newspaper in Hindi, was launched Sunday in an attempt to bridge the gap between villagers and the government.

"The paper will carry stories from villages and act as a bridge between the government and villagers, informing them about larger schemes that have been launched for their welfare," said Neelesh Mishra, the brain behind the venture.
Neelesh is a journalist, lyricist and script writer.
His father, scientist-turned-educationist S.B. Mishra, is the editor-in-chief of Gaon Connection, which is being circulated in all 75 districts of the state. - IANS
