In a press release, the organization said that Eelam was the only solution for the Sri Lankan problem.
Demanding a referendum for Eelam, May 17 said the US resolution at UNHRC was akin to demanding justice from the accused of the Tamil genocide and stated that those who advocated a solution within a united Sri Lanka were betraying the cause of Tamils.
The organization also demanded an impartial international inquiry into the allegations of war crimes against the Sri Lankan government.
