As the nation goes through the lockdown, Chennai based Edutainment platform SP Robotic Works said in a press release that it has witnessed 1 Lakh New Users after announcing the Android and A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) Online Course, for students of age 10+, in April.

SP Robotic Works operates in the Robotics Education segment with various courses in Drones, Robotics, IOT and Virtual Reality for different groups starting from Age 7.

With its 81 centres across India called SP Robotics Maker Lab, these courses have already been enjoyed by 1 Lakh+ Students. The company has doubled the number of users during lockdown.

The teaching is done using the proprietary online platform where concepts are taught using animation videos and real world examples. Moreover, 1:1 personalized guidance is also provided, tech experts are available from 10am to 8pm to help students on their queries and doubts.

“Both Android and A.I. Course has been specially developed for ages 10+ to understand coding from the basics through fun activities," says Sneha Priya, CEO, SP Robotic Works. "Every concept is taught using real world examples – like, how will you build an app to help your dad find the car key?"

Then the child will be guided to logically think of a solution and implement the GPS app with coding. "This not only improves the coding skills, but also the problem solving skills and creativity, which are highly important skills to be toned at the right age. We are very happy to see the children spend time usefully during lockdown and the feedback from parents has been amazing," says Priya.

Both Android and A.I. course have been offered for free trial. After knowing the child’s interest, parents can proceed to purchase the entire course which is offered at more than 50% discount during lockdown. Companies like Cognizant and many more are offering these courses to their employees' kids at additional Corporate discounts. - TWL Bureau
