Five women from West Bengal and Karnataka were rescued from a red light area here and two people arrested, police said Saturday.
"The women aged between 20 and 24 years were rescued from brothel number 55 at G.B. Road Friday," a police officer said.
The women were brought to the brothel in central Delhi six to ten months back on the pretext of jobs but were forced into prostitution.
The raid was conducted after the police was tipped off by an NGO.
