BARC woman employee accuses scientist of misbehaviour

A woman employee of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has filed a complaint of inappropriate behaviour against a senior nuclear scientist, said police Thursday.
Speaking to IANS, a police official at Kalpakkam police station said: "A 28-year-old woman working in PRP (Propulsion Reactor Plant) Division here has filed a complaint against a scientist, alleging he used indecent language to her Jan 7."
According to police, the nuclear scientist has gone to Vishakapatanam in Andhra Pradesh and will be questioned on his return in a day or two.
BARC director Sekhar Basu told IANS: "I am aware of the case."
"A preliminary enquiry was held and the matter was transferred to Women's Cell which has started its enquiry," Basu said on phone from Mumbai.
"We will take appropriate action against those who are found guilty of misbehaviour," he added. - IANS
