At least four people were killed in a suicide car bomb attack near the diplomatic quarter in Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Tuesday.
Another 19 people, including three women and three children, were wounded in the explosion, TOLONews reported.
Six vehicles were destroyed in the blast and extensive damage was caused to nearby buildings.
The Afghan Supreme Court and the US embassy are located near the site of the attack. "The obvious target of the attack was a foreign convoy moving along the airport road," a witness said.
Thick black smoke was seen rising at the site. Ambulances ferried the injured to hospitals. - IANS
