Break ties with Pakistan, says VHP
10-January-2013
India should snap trade and diplomatic links with Pakistan following the killing and beheading of two Indian soldiers, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) said Thursday.
VHP leader Satyendra Mohan also criticized the government for its "meek and weak response" despite Tuesday's killings close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
"Bharat should sever all trade and diplomatic ties with Pakistan," he said at a rally organised by the VHP here.
Another VHP leader, Brijmohan Sethi, said whenever India extended a hand of friendship, "Pakistan breached our trust and attacked us".
At the demonstration, VHP supporters burnt a Pakistani flag. The VHP later handed over a memorandum to President Pranab Mukherjee. - IANS
