New Delhi

25-October-2019

A lawyer Muzaffar Iqbal Khan has moved the Supreme Court alleging that Human Rights Commission, Women's Commission and Legislative Council have been abolished in Jammu and Kashmir.

Khan has filed an intervention application saying that Human Rights Commission and the other councils have been abolished in Jammu and Kashmir by the administration.

Khan has requested the top court that these institutions may be allowed to continue until the apex court takes a decision on the petitions challenging the Centre's move to abrogate Article 370 that granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.IANS
