Army conference's focus on completing projects on schedule

Time-bound completion of tasks and projects to meet the ground situation and the requirements will be the foremost priority for the Army Commanders' Conference, defence officials said here on Tuesday.
The conference began here on Monday.
"It is indeed heartening to see soldiers and junior leaders respond to difficult operational situations in the most innovative manner and such ingenious approach is great enabler in successful operations along LC and in the hinterland," army chief, General Bipin Rawat said during the conference on Tuesday.
He complimented troops to have steadfastly faced the challenges along the western and eastern borders and in the hinterland. He said the operational responsibility has been carried out by all ranks very sincerely that resulted in foiling many actions of Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) on the LoC and action of terrorists in the hinterland.
Rawat also complimented the National Investigative Agency for maintaining synergy with security forces that resulted in a large number of convictions. He said that the synergy with law enforcing agencies will be reinforced.IANS
