Accorsing to a report in the Pakistani media, the police were conducting a routine check of vehicles by placing barricades in the Ravi Bridge area. When they tried to stop an auto-rickshaw, the driver accelerated the vehicle instead of slowing down. But it was blocked.

According to the police, the accused were in that business for long. But it's not clear for which purpose the frogs were being used.
