Markets open in the red on Wednesday

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade on Wednesday.
Opening at 39,379.13 points, the BSE Sensex touched a high of 39,413.14 points and a low of 39,319.64 points.
On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 39,434.94 points.
The Sensex is trading at 39,426.74 down by 8.20 points or 0.02 per cent.
The broader 50-scrip Nifty at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 11,768.15 points after closing at 11,796.45 points. The Nifty was trading at 11,788.30 points this morning. IANS
