Sri Lanka: Buried Justice' film to be screened in Chennai

The Save Tamils Movement (STM) has made arrangements to screen a documentary film, ‘Sri Lanka: Buried Justice’, on the genocidal killings of Tamils in Sri Lanka, in Chennai today.

The film is said to contain some horrific war-crime footage that has been painstakingly compiled to create awareness among various sections of society on the goings on in Sri Lanka.
STM, a group comprising of IT professionals, screened the film in New Delhi a couple of days ago. Documentary film maker Mohuya Chaudhuri and journalist had spoken about the situation in Sri Lanka there.
In Chennai, the screening is taking place at MMA Hall (Near Thoriapakkam Signal) on OMR this evening at 6 pm.
Post screening of the film, a discussion will be held on India’s stand on UNHRC resolution, the role of Tamil Nadu in the Eelam struggle and the ongoing students’ protest in the State on the Eelam issue.
In 2010, STM had made a documentary (Read Story: IT professionals who see the world and society beyond the computer screen) tracing the history of the Eelam struggle.
