NGO to reach out to Anganwadi workers in Mumbai

Sightsavers, a global development organisation working to eliminate avoidable blindness, and working in India since 1966 has announced its unique initiative on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

Sightsavers along with its partner K. B. H. Bachooali Charitable Ophthalmic & E.N.T Hospital(KBHB) will organize a four day screening camp for Anganwadi workers from March 18 in Mumbai.

This camp will focus on the slum areas of Mumbai like Wadala, Sevri, Bhandup, Dharavi and Mankhurd and target about 1500 Anganwadi workers, who will be given free eye checkup, spectacles, and other treatment. – TWL Bureau
