Daughter of a Carpenter S. Nandhini Scores Perfect 600 in Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board Exams

S Nandhini, a student from Dindigul district, has made history by scoring 600 out of 600 marks in the Class 12 board examination in Tamil Nadu, as declared by the Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) on Monday.
Nandhini scored 100 out of 100 in all six subjects, including Tamil, English, Economics, Business, Accountancy, and Computer. She was studying Commerce at Annamalaiyar Girls Higher Secondary School in Dindigul, a government-aided institution.
Nandhini's achievement is remarkable, given her humble background; her father is a carpenter. She expressed her desire to become an auditor while speaking to a Tamil news TV channel. Nandhini's achievement has made her an inspiration to many students who come from similar backgrounds.
The overall pass percentage of students who appeared for the class 12 exams in Tamil Nadu was 94.03%. Out of the total number of students who passed, 91.45% were male, and 96.38% were female. According to the School Education department, Virudhunagar topped the districts with the highest number of passes. - TWL Bureau
