Woman set ablaze by live-in partner

A woman here is battling for life after her live-in partner poured petrol on her and set her on fire, police said Thursday.
The alleged attacker also suffered burn injuries.
The incident occurred Wednesday night in Laxmi Nagar in east Delhi.
Police said Rohit Kapoor, who was in an inebriated condition, set afire Sahroon Datia after she demanded money from him to go to her village in Bihar.
Datia is fighting for her life with 90 percent burn injuries while Kapoor suffered 40 percent injuries, said a police officer. It is not clear how Kapoor was injured.
Both have been admitted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital.
Police said Kapoor, 30, was married and Datia had separated from her husband. They were living together for some time.
