President's Rule to continue in Uttarakhand: SC

President's Rule will continue in Uttarakhand, the Supreme Court said on Wednesday. It also cancelled the floor test in the state assembly scheduled for Friday.
The next hearing in the apex court is scheduled on May 3.
The Supreme Court had earlier kept in abeyance the Uttarakhand High Court's order quashing President's Rule in the state, restoring Congress leader Harish Rawat as chief minister. - IANS
