President gives National Bravery Awards to 25 kids

President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday gave away the National Bravery Awards 2015 to 25 children from across the country for showing exemplary courage in saving the lives of others.
Two awardees - Gaurav Kawduji Sahastrabuddhe, 15, of Maharashtra and Shivansh Singh, 13, of Uttar Pradesh - were honoured posthumously. Their mothers received the award from the President.
The awardees said they were very happy to receive the honour and would continue to serve society and the country.
Rakeshbhai Shanabhai Patel told IANS that he dreams of joining the army after completing education as "serving the nation is my dream".
"I think we should continue to serve our country in whatever way we can," he said.
The bravehearts will participate in the Republic Day parade on Rajpath on January 26. - IANS
