Music video on Kerala tourist attractions launched

A music video capturing the beauty of Kerala's 14 districts with wonderful visuals and featuring music by Malayali singer-actor Sherrin Varghese was launched here on Thursday.

Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha member Shashi Tharoor launched the video "Madhuram Malayalam" at a function in the state capital on Thursday.

Kerala Tourism joined hands with Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) to create the music video.

"This video, which captures the beauty of the 14 districts in Kerala has wonderful visuals combined with a beautiful story," said Tharoor.

Mumbai-based Varghese said: "It took me nearly six months of pre-production and planning with Georgy Samuel from the World Malayalee Council in Abu Dhabi.

"I am happy that all that hard work by me and my crew has been rewarded with a splendid video which will feature Kerala in its fullest glory and pride in a very unique way," the singer said.

KTDC chairman Vijayan Thomas said Kerala's beauty "is aptly captured in the video. It is the best promotional video I have watched till date". - IANS
