Modi greets people on Christmas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday conveyed his wishes to people around the world on the occasion of Christmas.
"Wishing people all around the world a Merry Christmas!," Modi tweeted.
In Tamil Nadu, midnight masses, visits to churches, setting off fire crackers, exchange of gifts and greetings marked Christmas celebrations in Tamil Nadu on Friday.
Leaders, including Governor K. Rosaiah, Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa and DMK president M.Karunanidhi, conveyed their wishes to people of the Christian community.
Bakeries made brisk business selling cakes and other goodies.
Starred hotels and specialty restaurants offered special Christmas dishes. - IANS
