J&K CM Sayeed in Delhi AIIMS for treatment

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed was on Thursday flown to New Delhi and admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for treatment.
State government sources said Sayeed was complaining of neck pain for the last two days.
"After symptomatic treatment did not relieve the pain, the chief minister was rushed in an air ambulance to New Delhi. He has been admitted in AIIMS in Delhi," sources said.
Sayeed's daughter and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti accompanied him to Delhi.
Earlier report said Sayeed was admitted in AIIMS following complaint of severe chest pain and fever.
"The Jammu and Kashmir chief minister was admitted in the private ward of the institute today (Thursday) at 12.30 p.m," hospital spokesperson Amit Gupta said.
He said Sayeed was was under observation of a team of doctors from the departments of medicine, cardiology and endocrinology.
The doctors will carry out some tests to know the cause. "At present his condition is absolutely stable except for a little fever," said Gupta. - IANS
