Missing Indian teen found dead in Britain

Souvik Pal, a 19-year-old youth from Bangalore who went missing in Britain on New Year eve, was found dead Tuesday, a family source said Wednesday.
His body was fished out of a canal in Manchester city, about 200 km from London.
"We regret to learn from Souvik's father (Shantanu Pal) that his son is no more. He has identified the body though it was (in) a decomposed condition," Pal's family friend told IANS here.
According to the British police, Souvik's body will be handed over to his father after conducting post-mortem examination Wednesday to ascertain the cause of his death as his body was found in the Westbridge canal, which is near the nightclub where he went Dec 31 night to celebrate the New Year with his friends. - IANS
