Over 73,000 industrial workers return: Haryana Dy CM

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Wednesday said more than 73,000 workers have returned to work in industrial and commercial hubs which have been started in a phased manner in the green zone and other areas.
Similarly, over 2.07 lakh labourers have returned to work on brick-kilns.
In addition, more than 16,000 labourers have been allowed to work In-situ at construction sites, provided that all workers will follow the lockdown norms, including masks and wash their hands after every two hours.
Talking to the media here, he said entrepreneurs in the areas which are not affected by coronavirus could begin their operation by giving self-certification.
He said earlier the block-level committee had been authorized to give permission to open the establishments up to five workers, but now the number has been increased to 20 labourers.
He said the entrepreneurs could apply online on the portal for re-opening their units.-IANS
