No case against industrialist if employee gets infected: Haryana CM

Setting aside rumours, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said no case would be registered against an industrialist if any of their employees gets infected with corona at work.
Debunking the rumours being circulated on the social media, he said: "If any industry starts its work after due permission and any employee working there gets infected with corona, no FIR would be registered against the owner of such industrial units".
Applauding the efforts of the corona warriors, Khattar said compared to other states Haryana is in a better position that is affected by corona. No single corona case has been reported in three districts.
Addressing the people about the present situation of Covid-19 in the state, he said 614 tests have been conducted per 10 lakh people against the national average of 289.
There are total 264 cases of Covid-19 in Haryana out of which 158 people have recovered and have bee discharged, and only three fatalities have been reported, while there are 103 active cases in the state, he said.
The Chief Minister said the recovery rate in the state is 59.84 per cent. At the national level, the number of corona patients is doubling after every seven days whereas in Haryana the number of patients is doubling in 14 days.
He also said permission for starting 1,900 industrial and commercial units were given till Wednesday.-IANS
