Delhi's Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital on Friday called back all the 68 staff members to work after the test report of a patient, who allegedly failed to disclose her 'home-quarantine' status to the hospital, came negative.

The Hospital on Thursday had home-quarantined 68 staff members, including doctors and nurses, as a precautionary measure, after a pregnant woman allegedly failed to disclose her 'home-quarantine' status to the hospital authorities.

According to the administration, the 25-year-old women passed away on Wednesday night and her test report were awaited.

"The patients report is negative. So all the staff has been called back and all services have been restored," a hospital source told IANS on Friday.

According to the source, the woman was admitted to the hospital on Monday, but she allegedly did not disclose that she had been asked to be under home quarantine.

While her test reports were awaited, the 68 staff members were home-quarantined as a precautionary measure.

The 68 staff members include doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and officials of the government hospital in north-west Delhi. IANS
