Bengaluru Covid-19 hotspot wards decline by 2 to 32

The number of Covid-19 hotspot wards in Karnataka capital declined by two to 32 after no new cases were reported from these areas in the past 28 days, said a top official, here on Thursday.
"The number of hotspot wards have come down from 34 to 32 as there have been no new cases in these areas for the last 28 days," tweeted Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner B.H. Anil Kumar.
Kumar said the civic body hotspot list was dynamic and meant to educate people. "The BBMP hotspot list is dynamic and issued to educate people and does not mean there will be a seal down," he said.
Bengaluru East and South lead the hotspot list with nine wards each, followed by Mahadevapura and Bengaluru West, five each. Bommanahalli and RR Nagar account for one each, least. IANS
