67 new cases take UP Covid-19 count to 410

With 67 new cases in the past 24 hours, the tally of coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday reached 410. Of these, 221 are Tablighi Jamaat attendees.
According to official sources, 5,734 people are in quarantine and 410 in isolation wards.
While Covid-19 has claimed four lives, 31 patients have been cured in the state.
During the day, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the situation and asked officials to ensure that all movements, except that of medical, sanitisation staff and doorstep delivery boys, were stopped in the sealed hotspot areas of 15 districts.
He also took stock of deliveries of essential commodities being made in the sealed areas.
The state government has appointed a magistrate for each of the sealed hotspot areas. Surveillance is also being maintained in the hotspot areas with drone cameras.
Quarantined persons can use the Chief Minister's helpline 1076 for any problem. The Chief Minister reiterated that no person be allowed on the roads without face mask. IANS
