A 60-year-old man from Tumkur district succumbed to COVID-19, taking the number of deaths due to coronavirus to three in Karnataka, an official said on Friday.
"The man died on Friday morning at a designated hospital in the district," said the health official.
Designated the state's 60th corona positive case, the man had travelled to Delhi by train on March 13.
The health department has since traced his 24 high-risk primary contacts and isolated 13 of them at a hospital.
Among the 13, eight have since tested negative with three healthcare professionals under home quarantine. IANS
