Anderson gets help from daughters to stay fit away from cricket
19-March-2020
Veteran England fast bowler James Anderson has found a way to stay fit while at home. In a video that he posted on Instagram, Anderson could be seen doing bench presses by lifting his daughters.
"The girls are more than happy to help me training at home," said the 37-year-old. Anderson had said earlier that he doesn't expect the English cricket season to restart after it has been brought to a halt amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
"Cricket and sport is not the be all and end all but it is my livelihood, it's all I know," Anderson was quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "There's a chance we might not even bowl a ball this summer."
England's recent two-match Test series in Sri Lanka was postponed. Anderson is still recovering from a rib injury he sustained during the Test series against South Africa in Cape Town. IANS
