'Yajna' at Gorakhnath temple to combat spread of coronavirus

The famous Gorakhnath temple headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here in Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday, organized a 'yagna to combat COVID-19.
The yagna was carried out by Baba Kamal Nath, the acting chief priest of Gorakhnath temple, who said that the ritual was to purify the environment.
Acharya Ramanand Tripathi, who joined the yagna, said that chanting of mantras also helps in purifying the environment and wards off viruses like Corona.
About 51 students performed vedic rituals and participated in the �yagna', held at the temple's �yagyashala'. IANS
