17-March-2020
Winning your polling booth in the upcoming March 22 Zilla Panchayat polls, would be a true tribute to former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, state BJP chief Sadanand Shet Tanavde told party workers on the occasion of the former Defence Minister's first death anniversary on Tuesday.
"Ahead of the March 22 ZP polls, I want to tell all workers, that they should resolve to win their booth. This will be a true shradhanjali to Parrikar," Tanavade told reporters on the sidelines of a formal function held in the state BJP office in Panaji on occasion of Parrikar's first death anniversary.
Parrikar died on March 17 last year following a more than a year long battle with cancer.
"There is not a single day when we do not think of Parrikar, especially during elections, when we feel his loss," Tanavade said. IANS
