Two Gwalior students in West Zone team for Vizzy Trophy

Two students of Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) have been selected in the West Zone cricket team for the upcoming Vizzy Trophy, organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The two selected students are Pitam Manjhi (wicketkeeper-batsman) and Ankit Yadav (bowler). Pitam is an M.P.Ed first year student while Ankit is a final year B.P.Ed student.
Dr. Narendra Yadav, Assistant Professor at the institute, gave this information to IANS on Saturday. He said that Pitam was the top scorer in the Vost Zone Inter-University tournament while Ankit took the maximum number of wickets.
Abhishek Tripathi, spokesperson for LNIPE institute, told IANS, "Ankit Yadav and Pitam Manjhi, who are selected, are currently sweating it out in the camp running in LNIPE campus and are preparing to give better results at the Vizzy Trophy and bring laurels to Gwalior and the institute."
West Zone will take on South Zone in the tournament opener on March 19 at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun. IANS
