A chartered accountant fell to his death from the 18th floor of a residential complex in Sector 45 of Noida, police said on Thursday.
Ritesh Paparia was found dead on the ground below his flat here around 2 pm on Wednesday, DCP Sankalp Sharma said. While police suspected it to be a case of suicide by jumping off the building, the bereaved family maintained it could be a result of an accidental fall.
Ritesh's family claimed that he had lost consciousness in the morning, following which he had gone to his room to rest.
The DCP said that Ritesh was living in the flat along with his parents, wife and two children.
He said the body had been sent for a post-mortem and the police will act accordingly once the report is available. The family has not lodged any FIR in the matter. IANS
