Scindia's exit a loss for Cong: Rajasthan Minister
11-March-2020
As the 94 Madhya Pradesh legislators are being hosted at Buena Vista resort, here, by the Ashok Gehlot government amid political crisis being faced by MP Chief Minister Kamal Nath, Rajasthan Tourism Minister Vishwendra Singh termed Jyotiraditya Scindia's exit as a loss to the Congress and gain for the other party.
"It is sad to see @JM_Scindia Ji move on from the congress party. Our loss, will be another party's gain. I knew his father well, who was instrumental in getting me my first congress ticket from #Nadbai Vidhan Sabha. I wish Scindia Jr Sahib the very best for his new endeavour," Singh tweeted.
"I am sure in the true spirit of the #Scindia family, he will continue to serve the Nation with utmost dedication and love," he said.
Singh is a close confidante of Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, who has spoken several times against his own government.
BJP state chief Satish Poonia said, "The Ministers in Gehlot government are frustrated due to insecurity because of existence of two power centres. Factionism is rampant. Ministers are complaining against their own government, but there is no one to listen.
"Hope the party learns from its mistakes and respects its leaders to give better governance." IANS
