ITBP chief Deswal given additional charge of BSF DG

SS Deswal, Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, has been given the additional charge of Border Security Force DG after the repatriation of incumbent Vivek Johri to his parent cadre Madhya Pradesh, official sources said.
Deswal, an IPS officer of the 1984-batch from Haryana, will hold the additional charge of the BSF DG till the appointment and joining of Johri's successor, or until further notice, whichever is earlier, a Ministry of Home Affairs communique dated March 10 said. IANS
