Delhi Assembly: Rakhi Birla back as Dy Speaker

AAP MLA Rakhi Birla was elected unopposed as the Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.
Birla, elected from Mangolpuri, was selected for the post for the second time in a row. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia proposed her name. Birla thanked all members of the Assembly for electing her as the Deputy Speaker.
Aam Aadmi Party MLA Ram Niwas Goel was on Monday unanimously chosen as the Speaker of the House. He, too, was elected for the second consecutive term.
Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed happiness at Goel's unanimous election.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has kept his ministerial team unchanged.
The Aam Aadmi Party swept back to power with 62 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly with the BJP getting only eight seats.
