Chartered flight to repatriate Indians from Diamond Princess

A chartered aircraft has been arranged to repatriate Indians stranded on the Diamond Princess cruise ship quarantined off the Japanese coast of Yokohama, India'a embassy in Japan said on Tuesday.
The facility will be available to the Indian nationals on conditions.
Those who consented and have not tested positive for the COVID-19 disease and also cleared by the medical team could avail the facility.
The embassy said in a tweet: "A chartered flight is being arranged to repatriate Indian nationals onboard #DiamondPrincess, provided they have (a)consented; (b)not tested positive for #COVID19; (c) cleared by the medical team. An email advisory to this effect, with details, has been sent to them."
There are 138 Indians stranded on the Diamond Princes, out of which eight have tested positive for the virus.
As of Tuesday, 691 coronavirus cases have been confirmed on the Diamond Princess which was quarantined on February 3 in the port of Yokohama after a passenger who disembarked in Hong Kong on January 25 tested positive for the virus -IANS
