Coronavirus China's biggest health emergency: Xi

President Xi Jinping has said that the coronavirus epidemic that has killed over 2,400 people is China's "biggest public health emergency".
"It has the fastest transmission, widest range of infection and has been the most difficult to prevent and control," Xi said at a meeting in Beijing to advance the work on coordinating the prevention and control of the COVID-19 and economic and social development.
Xi Jinping stressed on unremitting efforts on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) epidemic and coordination in advancing economic and social development, Xinhua news agency reported.
The meeting was presided over by Premier Li Keqiang and also attended by Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji and Han Zheng -IANS
