Ram Mandir: Modi invited for foundation stone laying

Top members of Ram Mandir Trust tasked with overseeing preparations for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and invited him for 'bhoomi pujan' and foundation stone laying.
Nritya Gopal Das, president of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, general secretary Champat Rai and Govind Giri, treasurer of the Trust, met the Prime Minister on Thursday evening and also briefed him about the first meeting of the Trust held here on Wednesday.
The next meeting of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust might be held in Ayodhya on March 3-4, sources said.
Meanwhile, Das, the president of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has provided signatory authority to trustee Anil Mishra who would be now able to approve any decision on behalf of Das.
The Trust held a marathon meeting on Wednesday following which Das was appointed the President of the Trust and Rai was made the General Secretary.
In the meeting, as many as 9 committees for construction of Ram temple were set up and all members were given responsibilities related to construction of the temple.
