Haryana hikes honorarium for home guards

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said that the honorarium of home guard jawans has been increased from Rs 18,000 to Rs 27,000.
On an unfortunate incident that happened with a home guard in Sonipat district in which he was dragged 500 metres by a motorcyclist, Vij said a case has been registered against the accused and a team has been formed to investigate the matter.
He assured that all the accused in this case will be arrested soon.-IANS
