CBI bribery case: Court unhappy with probe

A Delhi court on Wednesday expressed displeasure over the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)'s probe into the CBI versus CBI alleged graft case.
During the hearing, the court asked: "Why certain accused, who seem to have bigger role in the case, are roaming free, while the CBI arrested its own Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)."
"There is a lot of evidence against Someshwar, but you haven't arrested him. You have arrested the weakest person, Manoj Prasad," the court said.
The CBI charge sheet mentions former CBI director Rajiv Asthana and another officer Devendra Kumar in column 12, that is, persons against whom sufficient evidence is not available.-IANS
