BJP's Meenakshi Lekhi, Varun Gandhi cast votes in Delhi

BJP MPs Meenakshi Lekhi and Varun Gandhi on Saturday exercised their franchise in central Delhi's Nirman Bhavan polling booth.

Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had also exercised their franchise at the same polling booth earlier in the day.

Voting for Delhi Assembly's 70 seats is being held from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m. The results will be out on Tuesday.

Of the 1.47 crore people eligible to vote, 28.11 per cent had turned up to vote till 1 p.m.-IANS
