Doctor commits suicide in Hyderabad

A doctor and managing director of a private hospital on Tuesday committed suicide by hanging here on Tuesday, police said.

Ajay Kumar took the extreme step in the premises of Sri Vaishanavi Hospitals in L.B. Nagar.

The doctor, in his suicide note, named four persons. He alleged that he was ending his life due to their mental harassment.

Police detained the four men, all said to be local leaders of a political party, and started questioning them. Police suspect that dispute over financial and hospital related matters led to the suicide.

The doctor's body was shifted to the government-run Osmania Hospital for autopsy.

Police registered a case and took up the investigation.IANS
