JNU student arrested for sedition produced at judge's house

Sedition-charged Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student Sharjeel Iman was on Monday produced at Patiala House Court Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Purushottam Pathak's residence amidst high security at the end of his police remand.
Imam was nabbed from Kako in Bihar's Jehanabad district on January 28 for allegedly making inflammatory speeches against the Citizenship Amendment Act and proposed National Register of Citizens.
He was produced before a court which sent him to police custody for five days.
