Policy to build data centre parks across country soon: FM

A policy will be set up to build data centre parks throughout the country, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said during her
second Union Budget presentation in Parliament on Saturday.

The announcement comes in view of the country's efforts to push data localisation and bring a data privacy law for citizens.

The Finance Minister mentioned that technologies such as data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and bioinformatics are proliferating fast in the country.IANS
