Haryana budget session from Feb 17

The budget session of the Haryana legislative assembly will commence from February 17 here, it was announced on Friday.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi.
It was also decided to implement a policy for mountaineers who scaled top 10 highest mountain peaks, including Mt Everest.
As per the decision, a cash award of Rs 5,00,000 and Grade-C Sports Gradation Certificate will be given to them which will help securing government jobs under the sports quota, a government statement here said.
The Cabinet decided to constitute a three-member ministerial committee to study the best practices relating to inter-departmental transfer of government land for public purposes.
The committee comprises Power Minister Ranjit Singh, Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma and Minister of State for Archaeology and Museums Anoop Dhanak.
It will also study the best practices adopted in other states to formulate modalities for inter-departmental transfer of government land for public purposes.IANS
