Cop held for making doctored video woman constable

The police arrested a constable for allegedly making a doctored video of his woman colleague and uploading it on a social networking platform.
The constable, identified as Sumit Kumar, and the victim are posted at the women police station South at Maneser.
Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP of Gurugram police, said the victim is involved in a case and some of the documents, proofs and video evidences are stored in Malkhana in the police station.
"The accused allegedly stole those proofs, including a video, and edited them by replacing some of them with the photo of woman constable. The accused also uploaded the doctored video on Facebook after making a fake ID," Singh said.
"Since, the nature of the offence was highly disturbing, we immediately took action following the victim's complaint. The matter was transferred to the cyber crime cell which has detected the IP address of the computer used for the crime," Singh said.-IANS
